Kipple is a diceware passphrase generator. It randomly selects a specified number of words from a list of 7,776 short words, abbreviations and easy-to-remember character strings. It can also throw a symbol into one of the words at random, if you think you can handle that much excitement.

The name Kipple is derived from Philip K. Dicks novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. In the novel, kipple is the rubbish and detritus that builds up when humans are no longer present, a concept known as entropy in thermodynamics. Entropy is also an important concept in information theory and is used to quantify the strength of passwords or passphrases.
